iOS 16 Beta With 5G Support for Jio, Airtel in India Rolls Out to iPhone Users

Apple has rolled out an iOS 16 beta update that enables 5G on Apple devices in India, and the update allows users to test the pre-release software with support for 5G networks in the country.

This software upgrade will enable 5G connectivity on compatible iPhone models once service providers Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) enable 5G network access, sources said. Apple users must register for the Beta program on the website, install a profile and download the software.

Jio users using iPhone 12 and above in cities where JioTrue5G has been rolled out will be invited to the Jio welcome offer. The Jio Welcome Offer provides users with unlimited 5G data at up to 1 Gbps without any additional charges.

However, there is a condition that users of prepaid services must be on an active R. 239 and above plan. All postpaid users are eligible for this trial version.

Unlike its rival Jio, Airtel has not provided any special 5G offer to its customers. In cities or areas where the Airtel 5G network has been launched, users can try 5G services as part of their existing plan once they update to the latest Apple Beta software.

While an email sent to Apple did not require an immediate response, the company said last month: “We are working with our partners in India to bring the best 5G experience to iPhone users once the network is validated and quality and performance tested. is completed. 5G will be enabled through a software update and will begin rolling out to iPhone users in December.”

Airtel and Jio customers on iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE (2022) can enjoy 5G as part of Apple’s iOS 16 Beta software program. The Apple Beta Software Program is open to anyone with a valid Apple ID who accepts the Apple Beta Software Program Agreement during the registration process. If the user has an iCloud account, that is, an Apple ID, it is recommended to use it. If they don’t have an iCloud account or another Apple ID, they can create one.

How to join the iOS 16 beta program

In order to install these public betas, users will first need to sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program with their Apple ID. Apple has a detailed guide to this in the beta FAQ section.

Once you’re enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program, go to Settings > General > Software Update from your selected device and download the update. It is advisable to have at least 50 percent battery and a strong Wi-Fi connection before starting the process.

Customers who want to try the beta software should back up their iPhones before installing the beta software. It is recommended that beta software be installed only on non-production, non-business critical devices.

Users can also provide Apple with quality and usability feedback, which helps Apple identify problems, fix them, and improve Apple software. The iOS beta comes with a built-in Feedback Assistant app that can be opened from the home screen on an iPhone or iPad.

Jio, Airtel and Vodafone plans offering 2GB data per day: All you need to know

Telecom brands Jio, Airtel and Vodafone have introduced new plans of late. While Airtel and Geo are launching new work from home plans, Vodafone has added additional benefits to its existing plans.
The coronavirus pandemic forced people to work from home, and even though the lockdown was lifted, some people are still working to prevent the virus from home.
Working from home means you need a good internet connection and sometimes your WiFi connection provides the bus. In these situations, you can turn your phone into a router when you recharge your phone numbers, which provides better data benefits.
In this article, we will talk about the 2GB data plan that Geo, Airtel and Vodafone offer every day. So check them out here.

Vodafone

Vodafone has three dedicated prepaid plans that offer 2GB of data per day for Rs 299, Rs449 and Rs 699. However, these plans now offer 4GB of data per day under the Vodafone Double Data offer, not 2. So let’s break this down for you. The plan of Rs 299 offers 4GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, unlimited calling and free membership to the Vodafone Play and streaming app G5. This plan is valid for 28 days. The Rs449 plan offers similar benefits, but is valid for 56 days and the Rs 699 plan is valid for 84 days. All plans offer a free membership to the G5 and Vodafone Play.

Reliance Jio

Of the three telecom brands, Reliance Jio has a maximum number of prepaid plans that offer 2GB of data per day. The company recently added two new annual plans to this list. So the plans are Rs.499, Rs444, Rs599, Rs2399 and Rs999. These plans come with different standard but offer 2GB of data per day. Plans include geo-to-geo unlimited calling and 100 SMS ship per day. Disney + Hotstar VIP also offers a free subscription of Rs. 2599 in the prepaid plan.

Airtel

Airtel has three prepaid plans that offer 2GB of data per day, ie Rs 298 and Rs. 349, Rs.449 and Rs.698 respectively. It is valid for 28 days. While the Rs449 plan offers similar benefits, it has a validity of 56 days and the Rs698 plan is valid for 84 days.

BSNL Offers 10GB/Day 4G Data For 28 Days At Rs 96; BSNL 4G Is Cheaper Than Airtel, Jio?

Rumours have been buzzing for many years about BSNL launching 4G services in India.
The loss-making public sector enterprise has managed to offer the fourth generation network services in select circles using the existing 3G spectrum.
BSNL has launched two 4G-only plans which provide 10GB data per day for up to 84 days.
Here are the details…

What is the buzz of BSNL’s 4G plans?

The two prepaid plans in question are Rs 96 for 28 days and Rs 236 for 84 days which are available to BSNL 4G subscribers only in areas where the telco has enabled 4G network.
BSNL recently introduced these 10GB per day 4G services in various parts of Kolkata and the subscribers can recharge these plans.
The company may not offer these 4G plans once it becomes pan-India later this year. Currently, it can be confirmed that both these plans are available for recharge in BSNL circles where the telco has enabled 4G network.
BSNL 4G is now available across Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Kolkata, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Chennai and Tamil Nadu telco circles.
A Telecom reader said, “The speeds are also much better right now.”

The Details of BSNL’s Data Plans!

The BSNL’s data plans are priced at Rs 96 and Rs 234, both providing 10 GB 4G data per day. These plans provide only data benefits and no call and SMS benefits.
For 28 days, BSNL’s Rs 96 plan offers 280GB of data whereas the Rs 236 plan offers 2,360GB of 4G data for 84 days.
BSNL’s 4G speeds are not as spectacular with it being in a race with Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio, but they are with an average of over 10 Mbps.
To avail of these two BSNL 4G plans, subscribers will have to get a BSNL 4G SIM card from the nearest customer care center.

In Competition with Airtel, Vodafone, and Jio!

Vodafone’s new offer provides? 499 prepaid recharge plan, comprising 1.5GB data and 100 SMS per day with truly unlimited calls for a validity of 70 days.
Reliance Jio’s? 555 plan entails 1.5GB data with a total of 126GB high-speed data and 100 SMS per day for 84 days. Also Read:- How IOT AND AI can be used to replace manpower in agriculture
The Rs. 249 prepaid recharge plan by Airtel comes with unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls on any network, 1.5GB of daily data, and 100 national SMSes per day for 28 days.
The BSNL Rs 96 plan with 10GB per day for 28 days or Rs 234 with a 10GB per day plan for 84 days is a bit more affordable data benefits wise.
But BSNL may not offer these plans once it rolls out the launch of  4G service nationwide.
